Jamie Shaw is the only court certified expert on the dispensary industry in Canada. She helped develop the first cannabis retail standards in Canada, and the first retail training course. As a former President of the Canadian Association of Medical Cannabis Dispensaries she lobbied successfully for dispensary regulations under prohibition in Vancouver, Victoria, and other cities, and has since continued to consult closely with Municipal, Provincial, and Federal regulators and elected officials on regulations related to Cannabis legalization. She is also a former Government Relations Director for MMJ IPRIO, a former director of the BC Compassion Club Society, and the co-founder of Canada’s first chapter of Women Grow. She currently is a founding partner of Groundwork Consulting, Government Relations and Senior Policy for Indigenous Bloom, and sits on the advisory board of NICHE Canada, and is a Director of the BC Independent Cannabis Association.
